REAR-COMMODORE'S MESSAGE

Welcome Aboard Pleasant Yacht Club, and many thanks to all those Club representatives who attended last month’s meeting, and participated in the democratic process of voting on club membership. A hearty thanks to the members of Red Eye Yacht Club, who prepared an excellent meal. You may not like your parking space when visiting Red Eye, but you will always eat well there.
Thanks also to PC Joe Hellner for clarifying the new Commercial Marina Run-Off legislation. A lot of people must be feeling better about that situation. What a gift Joe has for comprehending a situation and being able to interpret it to others!
Mid-April is upon us, and it’s time for club Openings. We look forward to seeing many of you over the next couple of months, as we salute our fellow clubs. It doesn’t look like we’ll have the new “Ship’s Logs” to distribute at Marley Boat Club’s Flag Raising, but it won’t be long afterwards.
